Display & Video 360 Q4 2026: Brand Control Center change, Floodlight signed-in conversions, YouTube branding dates clarified
Google's Display & Video 360 Help page of upcoming Q4 2026 updates (last updated October 16, 2026) lists several changes for November 2026. The advertiser-level Brand Control Center is being deprecated and its settings move to Advertiser settings > Targeting rules, while the partner-level Brand Control Center remains. Floodlight will use Google signed-in data to recover previously unattributed cross-device and cross-environment web conversions across DV360, Search Ads 360 and Campaign Manager 360. The audience provider Amerilink is renamed Open Audiences in reporting. The page also restates that since October 12, 2026 a business name and logo are required for all YouTube line items in DV360. Separately, the DV360 API deprecations page now lists January 2027 as the effective date for requiring Business Name and Logo Asset IDs on Responsive ads in the API and SDF when the advertiser has no default set.
Impact
Floodlight-based conversion counts in DV360, SA360 and CM360 may rise from November as previously unattributed conversions are recovered, which affects period-over-period comparisons and automated bidding inputs. Teams using advertiser-level brand safety settings will find them in a new location. API and SDF users have until January 2027 for the Responsive ads branding fields.
Recommendations
- Annotate reports around November 2026 to explain possible Floodlight conversion increases
- Check that advertiser-level brand safety settings carry over to Targeting rules
- Update any report filters or dashboards that reference the Amerilink audience provider
- Set a default business name and logo at advertiser level, or add the fields to SDF/API workflows before January 2027
